Eco-Friendly Bio-Based Modifier for PMB & CRMB — Sustainable PPA Replacement
SYVONIX® GreenX 17 is a bio-based chemical modifier designed as a substitute for polyphosphoric acid (PPA) in polymer-modified bitumen (PMB) and crumb rubber modified bitumen (CRMB). It is developed to boost high-temperature rutting resistance and performance grade without the acid corrosivity associated with PPA.

Application dosage
0.3%–1.0% by weight of base bitumen (3–10 kg per metric tonne). Inject directly into the high-shear mill or modification tank at 160–180°C. Stir/circulate for 30–45 minutes alongside polymers.
